Overfinch reveals the Range Rover Sport GTS-X & Evoque GTS

Adding some funk to Range Rovers since 1985...

Overfinch has released details of the new Range Rover Sport GTS-X and Evoque GTS, following their debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.

Overfinch have been tuning Range Rovers and Land Rovers for over 25 years, and where many pretenders have tried to steal their crown with poorly designed efforts, they have chosen these new models to show that they are still at the top of the Range Rover tuning game.

With highly aggressive looks, the GTS-X features a copper orange paint job with a new angular front bumper featuring a gloss black bar housing LED daytime running lights. At the rear there is a new rear bumper with lower diffuser and twin exhaust pipes, with a new roof spoiler as well. The car sits lower on new 22” Overfinch alloy wheels, housing 380mm Brembo brakes.

To spruce up the cabin, designers added premium leather upholstery, carbon fibre trim and special floor mats. Other highlights include revised instrumentation and unique sill plates.

This isn’t just a visual makeover though – the engine has also been given some attention, with the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine getting a revised ECU and a sports exhaust system. These changes enable the big V8 to put out 575 bhp and 516 lb/ft of torque. This allows the GTS-X to accelerate from 0-60 mph in five seconds, before hitting a top speed of 145 mph.

The Overfinch GTS-X costs £147,500 and is available to order now.

The Sport isn’t the only Range Rover to get te Overfinch treatment though – the Evoque has also been given the GTS makeover and was shown for the first time at Goodwood.

The Evoque GTS was shown wearing a stunning Ultraviolet paint job, with the front end getting a new lower bumper with larger vents and a new spoiler and rear bumper finishing off the remarkably subtle makeover. There are 22” Overfinch ‘Harrier’ wheels to really fill out the swollen Evoque arches too.

Inside there is a full retrim in premium ivory leather, with some rather nice sports seats up front. There is also the addition of some carbon fibre trim pieces to lift the interior that little bit more.

Pricing will be announced for the Evoque GTS nearer to the launch in September.
