Nissan Juke Nismo to get the power it has always lust after

Nissan's tuning arm, Nismo, has finally done a proper job of spicing up the handsome Juke.

The Nissan Juke has been given a good seeing to by the reputable tuning company, Nismo. They have confirmed a 20bhp increase and a 20% rise in torque, bringing the figures to a pleasing 197bhp and 184lb ft respectively from its 1.6 litre engine.

A revised suspension set-up will be fitted, with different springs, shock absorbers and damping rates. The car will sit 20mm lower than the standard Juke Nismo.

There will be two variants of the new Nismo Juke. The manaual version will send all its power to the front wheels only, while the CVT 'box will be garnished with four wheel drive.

The expansion of the Nismo range will continue with a more hardcore derivative of the 370Z, the Nissan 370Z Nismo, which will also offer more power, a revised chassis setup and specific body modifications.

We hope the solid figures on paper for the Nismo Juke translate as they should on to the tarmac. Another strong contender from the Japanese.
